Dance

Under the Leadership of Margaret Gregory

Our dance ministry, Holy Movement, lifts up the Lord through movements.  We present our bodies as living sacrifices to the Lord through corporate or choreographed praise and worship.

During our services, we express our praise and worship through songs, music, and dance.  We clap our hands, shout, and dance before the LORD.

Our Pastor wants the dance team to be in a corporate mode instead of a choreographed mode, that will spontaneously, at the leading of the Holy Spirit, praise God in dance.
 
What does the Bible say about dancing?  Here are just a few references from God's Word.

Psalm 149:3
Let them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

Psalm 150:1-6
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
