The GEMS (God's Everlasting Mercy Saves) Is the Singles Ministry at AHOP.  The purpose of the GEMS is to live a life of service unto the Lord with honor and reverence.  1Corinthians 7: 34b “The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be Holy both in body and in spirit.”

The Singles Ministry is to keep an open heart and ear to the Lord; and to be helpers to the body of Christ.  To stand in the gap with prayer for families, and be ready when called upon for service.  To be encouragers in word or deed, especially for single people, or just to lend a helping hand.  We have activities and Bible Studies to grow in the knowledge and faith of Jesus Christ.  We discuss topics such as  pleasing God, debt, savings, marriage, children, organization, and being prepared for marriage, and ways of  improving ourselves.  GEMS produce a bi-monthly newsletter published to encourage the body of Christ.
